The Webbed Lantern

I recreated a real lantern from home, paired with a candle, aiming to push realism as far as possible.

The spider webs were the biggest challenge. I modeled them in 3D to hold up in close-ups. My brush accidentally dropped a few spots of paint on the lantern.

I decided to keep this imperfection because it tells a real story.

I have decided to use two render engine, V-Ray for final images and close-ups, and Unreal Engine for turntables to save time and optimize the workflow
