WAR TABLE

Hey everyone! 👋

For this project, I decided to work on a Viking theme with a stylized-mix-realistic art style. I took inspiration from two different artists to create two hero props: a war table and the Anghus sword ⚔️.

For the coin, I found a cool reference on the Sibury Coin website, it’s called the Kings of Mercia Beornwulf Silver Penny 🪙.

The goal was to treat this project as if I were working with both artists, like a little studio collaboration 😄

I followed a full pipeline:

👉Blockout -> Modeling -> Texturing ->Lighting ->Placement

For the map, I used a simple mask (because the details are so fine!) and added vertex color to give it a stylized coffee stain effect, like in the reference ☕.

I also jumped into Photoshop to improve and draw the map further, and to create heightmaps for the Viking coin for to Zbrush
